Pedro Jóia is an internationally renowned guitarist who enjoys an extremely active career performing all over the world, on six continents. Pedro began the guitar at the age of seven with Paulo Valente Pereira at the Academy of Music Amateurs in Lisbon, also studying with Manuel Morais. As a soloist, Pedro has performed with several orchestras and chamber groups such as the Portuguese Symphony Orchestra, National Orchestra of Venezuela, Classical Orchestra of Madeira, Chinese Orchestra of Macau and Sinfonietta Orchestra of Lisboa.
