Born on 25th of August, 1981. Finding theatre as a passion, he starts his bachelor degree in directing at the Academy of Music, Theatre and Fine Arts in 1999. Then he graduates the master degree in acting, on body expression. As a physical and body expression theatre director he works with important moldovan directors as: Petru Hadârcă, Nelly Cozaru, Ilia Shats. Ianoș Petrașcu has already directed more than 15 shows in pernering with different kind of directors and institutions. From October 2015 he is the founder of M.A.D.E Theatre- the first Physical Theatre in Republic of Moldova. As the ruler of this company, he has created already 6 shows that involved young actors and choreographers. These shows speak almost exclusively through body language and applies the rules of the physical theatre. Most of them discuss some social problems that are important to the society and brought some significant changes in the last 5 years. Ianoș Petrașcu is also lecturer at the Academy of Music, Theatre and Plastical Arts, in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, teaching scenic movement, and tutor at the Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu.
