The Pigswana Orchestra (called Fanfare Gipsy Pigs until recently) proudly claims to belong to the protean world of Street Arts born, among other things, from upheavals in the 1970s and the emergence of free, demanding, and above all accessible theatrical forms. Neither a battery / military band, nor a municipal harmony orchestra, nor a carnival animation group, nor a theatrical company, but a contemporary sum of all that too. Could we classify them as “new fanfare” as there is a “new circus”?
