Romanian theater director NONA CIOBANU’s credits include productions based on contemporary and classical texts, that involve physical and visual theatre, as well as site specific projects, installations and multimedia directing for opera. Her work, which granted her many awards, took place at prestigious theatres around the world, as well as at site specific and galleries in Europe, the US and Mexico. Ciobanu taught at the National University for Theatre and Film, Bucharest and led workshops for theatre companies from around the world. Since 1995, she has been part of Mic Theatre Bucharest and since 1996 she is the founder of Toaca Cultural Foundation.
