About

Brad is a theatre director and scholar. He has created and directed 10 original NACL works, and co-directed 10 seasons of the Catskill Festival of New Theatre. He is currently Assistant Professor and Head of Production for the Department of Theatre at Hunter College. He received his Ph.D. in Theatre and Performance from the Graduate Center of CUNY. His book, Why Do Actors Train? Embodiment for Theatre Makers and Thinkers is available through Bloomsbury/Methuen Drama. Brad oversees the curation of theatre artists and ensembles who come to develop work as part of NACL's ongoing Deep Space performance residency program.
