About

I’m a fourth-year PhD candidate (and a couple of months away from submission), based in the department of Theatre and Performance Studies at the University of Warwick, and the History department at Université Cergy-Paris, as a recipient of the EUTOPIA cotutelle scholarship. I hold a BA in English, German and Translation studies from the University of Genova, and an MA in Theatre and Performance Research from the University of Warwick. In 2019, I was once again taken on board at Warwick with my research project investigating European International Theatre festivals, how they act as spaces of artistic resistance, and how they perform a role of worksites for a European identity. My case studies are the Festival d’Avignon, BITEF, and FITS. Alongside my academic life, I volunteered in the European youth association AEGEE. Currently, I’m a member of the exec committee of EASTAP as a student representative.
