Event Moderator “Cultural Conversations”

Teresa Brayshaw is a theatre maker, researcher, creativity coach and Feldenkrais Practitioner. She teaches contemporary performance at the University of Salford and Arden School of Theatre UK and is the external examiner on MA Theatre LAB at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA). She has worked extensively in the European and UK higher education and festival sectors for 30 years. For FITS, she runs Cultural Conversations. She co-edited two of Routledge’s publications: The 20th Century Performance Reader (Third edition 2013) and The 21st Century Performance Reader (2020). Recent publications and current projects include direction/UK tour of Breakages (Entwisle 2025), conceptual album release Umbilical Chords (Walli Hoefinger), a new piano work ‘Four Hands’ (Laws 2025) a case study in Nomadic ​​Performance Making: Experiences, Environments and Empathy (Bloomsbury 2026).
