" With SOL INVICTUS I wanted to create a Manifesto for Life. I want SOL INVICTUS to be bright, generous and universal.
I want SOL INVICTUS to be my declaration of love to dance, to all the dances that composed and shaped my choreographic writing
I gathered dancers coming from the whole world. Seventeen dancers and almost as many different nationalities. I won't tell you which nationalities but regarding our actuality, some dancers are absolutely not supposed to dance together.
To believe that dance has this extraordinary power. That of bringing people together.
With SOL INVICTUS, I also want to be reborn, to make us reborn and return to childhood. Oh yes ! To dance like a child.
In the immensity of the Universe I would like Sol Invictus to be a spark, a spark as brilliant as a life filled with the joy of dancing...together ".
