Rodrigo is a Salvadoran actor and producer based in Melbourne and the Co-Artistic Director of the renowned plein-air theatre company 5ANGRYMen. He is also the creator of Black Sand Studio, an alternative space supporting Melbourne's independent arts sector. Rodrigo’s works have been showcased across Argentina, Australia, El Salvador, Japan, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Panama. His artistic advocacy explores diverse movement-based forms, unlocking the potential of the body as a communicative and political tool. Deeply inspired by the ritualistic nature of theatre, Rodrigo investigates the expressive possibilities of the actor's body, transforming performances into ceremonial gatherings that foster community and collective experiences.
