Born in 1965, Reha Özcan graduated from Mimar Sinan Conservatory in Istanbul and worked as an actor & director in Turkish State Theatres for 30 years. Upon his retirement, he founded his own company and he's been touring with various plays in Turkey and Europe including The Empire Builders by Boris Vian, Ruki-The Gypsy Boxer (that was performed at Sibiu PAM) and Bir Garip Orhan Veli Musical. He received the Best Leading Actor Awards from the two most prestigious organizations of Turkey in 2011, and has become well-known on a global scale through his roles in TV and cinema. He follows the motto of ''escaping to goodness'' via theatre and keeps collaborating with international artists to create unique works that could go beyond man-made obstacles such as borders, language, and prejudice.
