Pürtelaş, owned by General Art Director Serdar Biliş, is a collective established to create exciting, risk-taking, and impactful new works for performance both domestically and internationally. Pürtelaş aims to explore innovative and contemporary styles of theater-making, encourage new plays by emerging playwrights, and radically reinvigorate the classical repertoire to shed light on present-day realities. Pürtelaş collaborates with artists of international caliber who are willing to take risks, enabling them to pose their bold questions about the modern world in the most impactful ways.
