I have graduated from Bosphorus University, Sociology Department. I did my PhD on theatre critics and dramaturgy. After my PhD I began to work for some newspapers and than I worked as assistant of the director at Istanbul French Institute. I left the Institute at 2004 in order to work with Heiner Goebbels as director's assistant for his performance "Eraritjaritjaka". In February 2005 I began to work for Istanbul Theatre Festival as assistant director and than artistic director until February 2022.
