The German State Theater Timișoara (GSTT) was founded in 1953, its existence being closely linked to the culture and identity of the German community in Banat. Over the seven decades of its existence, the GSTT's repertoire, with performances from universal, classical and contemporary drama, has been designed to cover all categories of audiences, from productions for children and young people to performances for adult audiences.
