Fernando López Rodríguez (Madrid, 1990) is a choreographer, researcher, and professor with a PhD in Aesthetics, Sciences, and Technologies of the Arts (Dance and Performing Arts) from Université Paris 8. He holds degrees in Philosophy and Dance and teaches at Université de Lille and Université Paris 8. He has developed acclaimed flamenco-contemporary works, published several influential books—including Queer History of Flamenco—and received multiple awards. As a scientific advisor, he co-directs research events and contributes to academic journals and cultural congresses, bridging performance and scholarly inquiry.
