Silesian Theatre is the largest drama stage in Upper Silesia. It presents classical and modern dramas, devised works, and guest performances (from Poland and abroad) of various genres. The theatre develops its international program, aiming to make new international projects. In 2018 OPEN THE DOOR International Festival was initiated - one of the most unique festivals in southern Poland - open to various forms of theatre, showing its diversity - modern, experimental and traditional of various genres. It is an inclusive event, including works of disable artists, and artists from disadvantaged groups.
