About

The Kennedy Center is the National Center for the Performing Arts located in Washington, DC. It is the living memorial to the late President Kennedy. This year it celebrated its 50th anniversary of its opening in 1971. The Center is the largest performing arts center in America which presents and produces over 2000 performances including education programs annually. The Center presents programs in all disciplines including the visual and literary arts which are included in the major international festivals. And it is home to the Washington Opera and the National Symphony Orchestra
