Founded in 2009, Modern Drama Valley Theatre Festival has established itself as a renowned cultural brand in Shanghai, China. Sponsored by Jing An district government and co-organized by Shanghai Media Group and Shanghai Theatre Academy, the festival promotes itself with the slogan of “ Cosmopolitan Jing An, Drama In the Air”. It holds three major events: Invited Plays Exhibition, Urban Culture Space and One Drama Award. It adheres to the purpose to promote art and benefit people, with aim to enrich the citizens’ cultural live.
